Pique Tortoiseshell Tasseled Locket
This one-of-a-kind necklace is composed of:
- Victorian pique tortoiseshell locket from the late 1800s featuring solid gold inlay and the initials "MB" on the back. A man's pocket watch tassel from the 1800s is also fixed on the necklace along with solid 9k gold antique pocket watch chain. Each element of this necklace is true to its era. These elements were originally made and sourced in England.
- This necklace measures 19" on an antique solid 9k gold chain with an antique swivel clasp closure. The locket measures 1.75" in height and the tassel 1.375".

Pique is a technique in which gold or silver is inlaid in tortoiseshell, ivory or mother-of-pearl.
