THE HISTORY:

This restored Victorian bracelet from the late 1800s was known as a “Lover’s Bracelet” due to the lock clasp: a lock needs a key to open and close, therefore your significant other would likely have been the one to “hold the key”. This lover's bracelet heart-shaped padlock clasp was designed to open with the little skeleton key attached to the safety chain of this bracelet.

This antique, 14k gold filled bracelet measures 7.5” in length, and the heart lock measures .5” in width with the original key and safety chain.
