Matching Etruscan Engagement Bracelets
The History Lesson:
These restored Victorian engagement bracelets feature delicate scalloped filigree work that fully encompass each bracelet. These bracelets come from a tradition centuries ago in which a groom would present his future bride with a set of bracelets: one to be worn at the beginning of their engagement and the second to be put on the day of her wedding. Women would often pass these down from mother to daughter.
These bracelets are not only rare due to being discovered with their matching mate (after nearly 200 years of history behind them), but the discovery of their original custom box make these beautiful bracelets even more special.
Each bracelet measures 2.5” in inner diameter and 6” in inner circumference. These bracelets are better suited for a smaller wrist.
