The History

A symbol of triumph, this arrow and wreath charm alludes to the Grecian myth of Apollo's failed love attempt with Daphne. As it goes - Apollo was shot by a golden arrow of love, and Daphne, having been shot with a lead arrow causing her to be impervious to love, prayed to be transformed into a laurel tree rather than to be conquered by Apollo. In his love and yearning for Daphne, Apollo adorned himself in a laurel wreath crown. Since Grecian times, laurel wreaths have been adopted as a symbol of divine favor and great achievement.
