THE STORY

The only kind of slithering snake we'll let near us are those cast in gold and set with gemstones! This 18k gold serpent ring from the 1800s holds a pair of diamond eyes with a coiled body and tail that encompasses the ring design. This beauty was sourced in England and holds a hallmark for London.

Queen Victoria brought snake jewelry into the fashion spotlight in the 1800s when her husband-to-be, Prince Albert, bought her a snake engagement ring, set with an emerald (her birthstone).
