Antique serpent rings hold one of our favorite stories. Hailing from the early 1900s and cast in 18k gold with worn blue enamel details, we couldn't pass this coiled beauty up! This ring was sourced in England.

Queen Victoria brought snake jewelry into the fashion spotlight in the 1800s when her husband-to-be, Prince Albert, bought her a snake engagement ring, set with an emerald (her birthstone). The Victorians associated the snake motif with eternal love. As one of the first Queens to be regularly seen out and about, Victoria’s style was emulated throughout the world and was quickly emulated in brooches, necklaces, and other jewelry designs not only in her time, but for years to come.
